If you’re after that classic Harrison 32C sound, but prefer to work in a DAW other than Mixbus32C, the new Harrison 32C Bus Plugin could be just what you need. You can also activate the included Master Strip Limiter with a button. ![]() The output section on the right features a K12 output meter and an output trim control. It has a low shelf, midrange bell filter and a high shelf with adjustable frequency. Harrison says that it’s a revised variant of the EQ found in all bus channels in Mixbus and Mixbus32C. The 3-band 32C Bus EQ can be inserted pre and post compressor. The compressor also has an internal side chain high pass filter, which is based on the console’s filter section. It offers threshold, ratio, attack, and release controls, as well as a makeup gain slider. Next is a 32C Bus Compressor modeled after the digitally-controlled analog compressor of the console. Harrison says that this helps to achieve “True Analog” sound, regardless of the host software. The signal enters through the Tape Saturation / Drive module, where you can adjust the input trip and apply saturation and drive. ![]() Most of it was pulled from the Mixbus32C DAW, which in itself emulates the processing and workflow of the classic Harrison 32C Series consoles. With four distinct processing modules in one, Harrison’s new 32 C Bus plug-in is sort of like an all-in-one channel strip for busses that complements the 32C Channel plug-in released last year.
